§ 1 Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire fourteen days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

§ 2 Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.

For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

§ 3 Special notices for digital services (subscriptions)

When you take out a subscription (Starter, Pro, Agency or Enterprise plan), performance begins immediately after the contract is concluded. When you book, you expressly agree that we begin performing the contract before the withdrawal period has expired.

Compensation for value upon withdrawal

If you requested that the service should begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of services already provided until the time you inform us of your exercise of the right of withdrawal, compared with the full scope of services provided for in the contract.

The pro-rata calculation is based on the days used in relation to the billing period (in accordance with § 356 (4) of the German Civil Code (BGB)).

Calculation example

For a monthly price of EUR 49 and a withdrawal after 5 days, the compensation for value is: EUR 49 / 30 days x 5 days = EUR 8.17. The difference of EUR 40.83 is refunded.

§ 4 Special notices for digital content (credit purchases)

Credits constitute digital content within the meaning of § 327 (2) sentence 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB). They are made available immediately after purchase and credited to the user account.

Loss of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal expires in the case of a contract for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium if the trader has begun performance of the contract after the consumer has

expressly consented to the trader beginning performance before the end of the withdrawal period, and
confirmed his knowledge that he thereby loses his right of withdrawal upon the trader beginning performance of the contract

(in accordance with § 356 (5) of the German Civil Code (BGB)).

For credit purchases, you expressly agree during the purchase process that provision takes place immediately and you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal expires once the credits have been provided.

§ 6 Electronic withdrawal

In accordance with § 356a of the German Civil Code (BGB), you may also submit your withdrawal electronically via our withdrawal button. An electronic withdrawal is just as effective as a withdrawal by letter or email.

You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online via our withdrawal form at rankion.ai/withdrawal/request. We will send you, without undue delay, an acknowledgement of receipt on a durable medium (e.g. by email) confirming the content of the withdrawal declaration and the date and time it was received.
